Activities draw on The Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s position as an internationally-renowned centre of excellence for art history and a public Gallery. They range from individual study days, lecture series, intensive short courses and international study tours, to outreach programmes for young people and schools, targeted family and community sessions, innovative volunteering programmes and work with English Language Learners.

The Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s ambition is to transform access to art history education, by extending the horizons of what this is, and ensuring as many people as possible can benefit from the tools to better understand the visual world around us.

In addition, through its Research Forum, The Â鶹ÊÓƵ uses innovative online approaches to bring art history research to a wide range of audiences. When The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Gallery reopens in late 2021, there will be a full programme of public activities, from curator-led talks to family workshops sessions and Gallery Lates.
