The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Gallery will open its doors for late-night access until 22:30, giving visitors the chance to enjoy an evening of world-class art, cocktails and music surrounded by The Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s collection of masterpieces at Somerset House.
Join us on Fri 24 May 2024 for a last chance to experience our five star exhibition The Griffin Catalyst Exhibition: Frank Auerbach – The Charcoal Heads after hours.
You can also preview Good Morning, Midnight, a new exhibition curated by The Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s 2023-24 MA Curating the Art Museum students, and watch a piece of performance art The Touch of the Human Hand, responding to the exhibition by artist Blue Pieta.
Unwind after work and explore masterpieces from The Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s world-renowned art collection, such as Van Gogh’s Self-Portrait with Bandaged Ear and Manet’s A Bar at the Folies-Bergère. Other highlights include the Bloomsbury Room, the Medieval and Early Renaissance gallery, and the magnificent Blavatnik Fine Rooms.
A pop-up bar serving ‘Â鶹ÊÓƵ Cocktails’ will be open in The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Shop on the lower ground floor, while the Art Café will be open all night, with a food station available for a light snack.
Plus live DJ sets in the Gallery Entrance Hall throughout the evening.
